Juliet
Costumes Romeo and Juliet’s costumes designed by Alain Vaës after the original design by Henry Hermann Scenery by Alain Vaës Choreographed by Coho San Goth
The costumes for this production were purchased from the Pittsburg Ballet, except for Romeo and Juliet’s costumes, which were designed by Alain Vaës. The white costume is Juliet’s costume from the Balcony scene while the vest is worn by a Corps member, representing a citizen of Verona, seen in Act I. A few weeks before opening night in the spring of 1984, Virginia Holmes died before getting a chance to see the production.
